Atelier Bow Wow

Atelier Bow Wow, based in Tokyo was founded in 1992 by Momoyo Kaijima and Yoshiharu Tsukamoto. Yoichi Tamai was appointed partner in 2015. Atelier Bow Wow is an acclaimed international practice with an extensive portfolio of work, as well as exhibitions and publications. The firm’s projects span from residential buildings to public spaces and are characterised by a commitment to sustainability, social impact, and an understanding of human behaviour in the built environment.

With a distinguished professional practice, Kaijima and Tsukamotoboth have rich and varied teaching experience. Kaijima was the curator of Japan Pavilion at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia and is Vice President of NPO Cheer Art. Tsukomoto is Director, General Incorporated Association Small Earth, and Director, Window Research Institute.
